Site Manager (Groundwork)

The Project

As an experienced Groundworks Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the installation of new bollards around Manchester and Liverpool City Centres. The work will involve groundworks, excavation and pavement reinforcement as well as regular liaison with the public, local council and the end client.

Requirements

For this role it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications as a minimum;

* First Aid
* SMSTS / SSSTS
* Streetworks Supervisor

It is also essential that you hold the experience below;

* Previous experience in a client facing role
* Excellent knowledge of groundworks and civil engineering

The Role

* Job Title: Groundworks Site Manager
* Project: New Bollard Installtion, Manchester & Liverpool City Centre
* Duration: 3 Months
* Reporting to: Contracts Manager

Duties

* Health & Safety
* Progress Reporting
* Updating Site Diaries
* Inductions / Toolbox Talks
* Management of onsite labour
* Chair and attend site meetings
* Quality Inspections / Snagging
* Ordering / Receiving of materials
* Carry out programme and budget evaluations
* Attending and Participating in Project meetings
